Well what a start.... Sophie my Himalayan doe had some lovely kittens . She has been a superb mother but still insists on her human time! I didn't do so well I was ill over Christmas then New years got sicker and rushed to hospital for a stay ... The rats where a bit put out! Ratsmith my buck snubbed me for a day!! Well I have the most unusual baby here , An Irish doe and her marking is a totally perfect heart!! Surprised she has not been snapped up.... they both are very loving the two sisters and not phased by thier aunts at all or the big cage! I at last have a rex litter not sure how they will turn out Mum is very curly. Trouble is whole litter is Agouti. Have to say though it is the Agouti's who have a huge personality and are very very clever rats and demand alot of out time!! So great pets. Post Title. 11/12/2011
Freaky my Agouti rex has a litter and boy is Freaky fed up!! She really does not like her babies and wants to come out and climb all over me all the time and sits gnawing her bars ...let me out!!!! Freaky's babies are smooth and agouti rex . Father is Ratsmith who is a lovely big agouti so happy and cuddly ... Ratsmith is a typical Darkstar boy! Post Title. 11/12/2011

Well sadly no creams :( and only one rex :( Cinnamon , Agouti and one little Cinnamon Pearl . They should be lovely anyhow as both Mum and Dad Ratsmith are lovely looking rats with fab natures. These are a mix of Darkstar Cinnamon Pearl line and Riven dell agouti so should look fantastic I hope! Brulee babies 10/02/2011

Sadly Darkstar Muzzi the eldest Darkstar doe passed away this week. She was well over two years old and head rat. She loved and was loved by everybody she met. I miss her chewing to get my attention And the sofa where she would sit and watch T.V or sit on my lap is not the same without her. Only good thing is on the same week her half sister had a lovely litter with a Finnish back ground of Cham silver fawn and Agouti and what little porkers they are! I am keeping one so a little bit of Muzzi is still here. RIP Muzzi xxx Pink eyed surprise! 08/18/2011
I know not the most popular of rats but I do have a soft spot for the pink eyed varieties. Since looking after the Finnish chams that came over I have kept them ticking until last year when it looked like my last doe would never have kittens. I gave her one last shot and she had a couple of kittens. I kept a little rex buck and a doe. Well the little doe has had a litter and I was thrilled to see she has had chams and a huge surprise a little silver fawn rex ! Mum and grandmother are very close ... when mum has a break grandmother nips in and keeps her daughters babies warm and washes them all until Mum comes back. They really are loving does...
